

Espresso Basics
Participants of this course will get a hands-on introduction to working with an espresso machine, beginning with the fundamentals of extraction and coffee origins, identification of equipment, and then moving into basic tasting and troubleshooting practices associated with working on an espresso machine.
The goal of this class is for participants to build on their coffee brewing knowledge and have the opportunity to pull their own shots on an espresso machine.
Note that enrolled students will be tasting espresso throughout for palate calibration and development.
Classes start promptly at 7 p.m. and will run for approximately an hour and a half.
