The focus of the Home Brewing class is to equip participants with the tools and methods to brew delicious and balanced coffee at home. This class will focus on distinct manual brewing methods that are common to both a coffee shop environment and at home. Students will gain an understanding of brewing, recipes, and what variables to adjust in order to brew a perfectly extracted cup of coffee. The class will also look at coffee origins as part of a thorough grounding in understanding the particulars of extraction.
Note that participants will be tasting various manually brewed coffees as part of palate calibration and development.
Classes start promptly at 7 p.m. and run for approximately an hour and a half.
